Vici Combat Sports is a fully dedicated combat sports training facility. Located in League City, about 25 minutes south of Houston, Vici offers combat sports classes to active competitors, fitness enthusiasts and youth. The mission at Vici is to facilitate training that results in a strong goal accomplishment equation for each student.
We focus on developing a student's confidence, self-discipline, work ethic, sportsmanship, and integrity to ensure each student develops into a better version of themselves, positively influencing their community.
Students will develop according to their unique and exciting life path. The Vici program uses proven methods and techniques to develop technically sound and mentally stong competitors at a learning pace that is most appropriate for them. Because all champions are the product of extreme dedication, hard work, and relentless patience, students will be pushed beyond their own normal limits both mentally and physically.
Young competitors will learn the importance of goal setting, mental strength and the necessary discipline it takes to embody a no excuse lifestyle and the Vici mindset.
All Vici Wrestlers and Coaches are members of USA Wrestling providing our members with a structured and insured environment. All Vici coaches must pass background checks via USA wrestling and be safe sport certified.

What is the 2020 Vision Scholarship? In honor of Fletcher Semones, the 2020 Vision Scholarhip was created. Fletcher was Vici Wrestler number 1. He was the first official member of the gym and wore the Vici flag high. Along his journey, no one brought more people to the gym than Fletcher. His happiest moments were sharing his love of wrestling to people that others didn't even acknowledge and because of this small act of acceptance, Fletcher was the most well known wrestler Vici has ever had. He often had entire fan sections at tournaments 1500 miles away from Houston. In memory of his acceptance and wonderful mark he made on Vici, we look for 2 students every year who will benefit and be healthier from training in the gym.
Annually, High School Coaches in CCISD and Friendswood ISD are asked to nominate wrestlers who may need financial assistance to cover training costs. Vici Combat Sports selects 2 nominated students per year to offer the scholarship award to.
Requirements: Upon being awarded the scholarship, students must attend class at least 1 time weekly. If students miss this requirement, the scholarship will be forfeited and awarded to the next viable student.
As a gym and wrestling community, part of our unspoken obligation is to ensure everyone has a safe space to exrpess themselves and improve themselves in a positive way without the worry of judgement or shame. Because of the constructive and empowering environment that is established in our gym, the 2020 Vision of community inclusion and improvement starts with us. Vici pays 50 percent of all scholarships.....we believe in this cause.
